Whether you’ve just dragged the kids to school and need a break, are stuck in endless meetings behind your noise-cancelling headphones, or already a seasoned yogi, at VolksYoga everyone’s welcome.

For over 11 years, VolksYoga has been a household name within Volkshotel. A place where you step out of the hustle and bustle for a moment, turn off your phone, and reconnect with yourself. Accessible yoga classes, without any fuss, in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Every teacher teaches in their own way, but with the same vision: making yoga accessible to everyone. Whether you are stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or have years of experience, you are more than welcome.

Monday: Claudia With Claudia you’ll notice right away that her energy is contagious. She reads the room and can switch just as easily from a relaxed class to one that makes your muscles shake. You set the tone, she adjusts.

Wednesday: Tara Tara calls her classes “movement in meditation”: soft and dynamic at the same time. Gentle, but never dull. You arrive with a crowded head and leave with space in your body.

Saturday: Emily Emily has a background in dance, and you can tell. Her classes start off easy but build up into a flowing Vinyasa sequence that can really put you to the test.

Of course, it can occasionally happen that one of the teachers is absent. That is why we work with a fixed team of experienced substitute teachers. This way you can always count on a nice class, with the same warm atmosphere and quality.

The classes last 75 minutes and take place in the Riet room on the ground floor. Afterwards, you are more than welcome to wonderfully relax in the rooftop sauna.

Everyone is welcome: young or old, flexible or as stiff as a board, beginner or experienced yogi, amateur or professional football player. LGBTQ+ friendly.
